A Smart Christmas Parties Showcase At The Cutty Sark
On Monday night, Smart Christmas Parties hosted an exclusive showcase at Cutty Sark Greenwich for 150 guests.
New to the portfolio for this year, this unique venue is available for both shared party nights and exclusive hire for up to 240 seated or 400 standing.
Smart Christmas Parties and Royal Museums Greenwich invited guests to see the historic venue in action, offering tours throughout the evening and the opportunity to sample delicious catering from Moving Venue, exclusive caterers during the Christmas run.
On arrival, guests were treated to glasses of ice-cold sparkling wine and canapés including roast squash with crispy kale and rowanberry capers, and Korean chicken with gochujang dip. They were then served a selection of bowl food, including pigs in blankets with cheddar and mustard mash, cabbage jam, toasted chestnuts and red onion gravy, and bowls of pan-fried seabass with bouillabaisse sauce and lemon. Finally, Rudolph caramel cups and bowls of iced rum and raisin Christmas pudding were circulated for those with a sweet tooth for festive treats.
As the world’s last surviving tea clipper and the only place in the world where you can party beneath the gleaming copper-clad hull of a ship, Cutty Sark is a truly unique Christmas venue offering stunning views of the City from its upper deck.
