Hospitality Rocks: The Party Of The Year Is Back Again!
Hospitality Rocks is back for 2020! Returning to Evolution London on Tuesday 10th January 2020, the event will give the hospitality, catering and events industry the chance to unwind after the busy festive period, while raising money for some amazing industry charities.
The party of the year is back in January!
For the hospitality and events industry, the festive period is undeniably the busiest time of the year. Whilst everybody else is enjoying their festive celebrations, capping off their year and toasting to the year ahead, the hospitality sector is working overtime to make this all possible. Whilst these workers love what they do, the stress and intensity of the period can unfortunately deprive them of a festive celebration of their own.
This is why we host Hospitality Rocks – a post-Christmas party exclusively for those involved in hospitality and events. From chefs to event planners and everything in between, the event is designed to give thanks to the industry, and to provide an opportunity for you to let your hair down for your hard work throughout the busy period and the year as a whole, all the while raising money for some amazing industry charities!
Hospitality Rocks will once again be sponsored by Syft, a temporary staffing solution for the hospitality and events industry.
Smart Group are proud to be supporting Hospitality Action, an organisation established in 1837 that aids former and current hospitality workers in their time of need. Whether affected by physical illness, mental health issues or financial difficulty, they offer a range of aid services to help hospitality workers back on their feet again after a setback.
This support comes in the form of:
Grants – to help beneficiaries through the toughest of times.
Counselling Support – to help tackle complex issues like addiction, relationship breakdown and much more.
Employee Care – to provide peace of mind to employers and confidential support services to employees.
Training – from on-site trauma support to mental health awareness.
Golden Friends – a scheme that helps to prevent loneliness in industry retirees.
Family Days Out – gives families a trip to a leisure attraction, along with spending money.

The event will also raise funds for The Springboard Charity, which aids young people to achieve their potential and helps to relieve unemployment. Through the provision of careers advice, educational training courses and supportive motivation, the charity also helps to alleviate poverty by supporting disadvantaged job seekers and under-privileged people into sustainable employment within hospitality.
Springboard’s work encourages, motivates, builds confidence, develops the skills required and mentors our beneficiaries to reach their potential, through:
Education and learning activities in schools
Specialist careers advice and guidance
Skills Development
Preparation for work and pre-employment training
Work Experience
Support into sustainable employment
