Common Misconceptions of Shared Christmas Parties

In our experience of hosting shared Christmas parties, we often meet the same misconceptions about these events.

In our experience of running incredible shared Christmas parties, we often find ourselves met with the same misconceptions about these types of events, but after attending one of our Smart Parties for themselves, nearly every guest changes their mind.

We’re going to be setting the record straight on three of the most common misconceptions about shared Christmas parties that we hear the most, and we’re sure by the end of this article you’ll be keen to book your tickets for one of our 2019 parties!

  1. You Always End Up Sitting With People You Don’t Know

The concept of attending a party with hundreds of people you don’t know makes many people very unsure whether it’s something they’d enjoy. For those unsure, we can promise you will be sat with people you know.

Tickets for our shared Christmas parties have to be booked in groups of 8 or more and we will always seat parties that book tickets together on tables together, meaning you certainly won’t be sat on a table with a group of strangers! And, what’s more, your table is yours for the night, so you can make it your party base.

  1.   The Menu Must Be Basic to Cater for So Many People

We hear a lot of people questioning the quality of the catering at an event so large, assuming that to cater for so many people, the menu must be basic, the presentation lacklustre and the taste must be average at best, but that couldn’t be further from the truth with a Smart Party!

Our Smart Hospitality and Moving Venue team are experienced in catering for thousands of people night after night, so one of our shared parties is nothing they’re not used to.

We use fresh, local produce where possible to ensure the best quality taste and, as for presentation, there’s nothing basic about the appearance of a Smart Hospitality dish – stunning doesn’t do it justice.

  1.   Shared Parties Have a ‘School Disco’ Feel to Them

People often assume that the décor and entertainment at a shared party is less than impressive and, if anything, feels a bit basic and ‘school disco’ like, but a shared Christmas party by Smart is far from your average celebration!

We go above and beyond to turn venues into mesmerising spaces with innovative and interactive décor, as well as bringing in breath-taking performers and entertainers, from acrobats to live musicians, all with a unique appeal that you won’t have experienced at any other event.

Our events don’t have a simple itinerary with just dinner and a DJ for afters. We create realistic, immersive experiences that transport you to another world, walking you through drinks receptions, delicious dinners and live performances at your tables through to a serious party at the end.

So, are you convinced a shared Christmas party by Smart Parties could be the best way to celebrate with your closest friends or colleagues this Christmas? Don’t wait any longer to book your tickets to a themed shared party at one of our 5 amazing venues in London and beyond.

Dates are selling out quickly – so don’t delay!
